ECF  YurtWallWorkshop     Yurt Wall Constructuion  <h2>Yurt Wall workshop</h2>
<p> We will harvest the wall materials prep and assemble.
<p>The foraging portion of this workshop will take place in grindrod along the abandoned rail bed. We will be harvesting wall slats and rafters. Trees to be harvested will be chokecherry of 1 inch at the tip of the slat. The less taper the better. These will be as straight as possible. Tie in bundles of 20 to hold straight.
Rafters are 1 1/4 at the tip

<p>we will then prepare wall slats by cutting to length. Holes are drilled for knoting.

<p>We will start with Hive Evaluations. We will evaluate each frame in the Hive for its resourses.

<li>Number of frames of bees.
<li>Number of frames of brood
<li>Number of frames of honey
<li>Number of frames of pollenm
<li>Number of frames of commb
<li>Number of frames of foundation
<li>Number of open frames for the bood nest to be drawn.

<p>Each nuc we produce will require
<li>1 frame of honey
<li>4 frames of bees
<li>3 frames of brood
<li>1 frame of foundation for a honey position empty frame for brood position.

<p>I you intend to draw new comb you will need to ensure the the Hive is well feed. Continually feed to completion of the wax process. If the nectar stops they will have trouble restarting.
